Celebrate Christmas at Mikado Baptist Church this year!

It’s been said that Christmas is “The most wonderful time of the year,” and we believe that to be true! Many times we forget the true meaning of Christmas, however. In the bustle of the season, it’s easy to forget that Christmas is about giving, not receiving. It’s easy to forget that Christmas is about believing in the baby in the manger, not the man in the sleigh. And it’s easy for us to forget that the greatest gift of all wasn’t wrapped under a tree, but was hung on a tree so we could be saved.

Our desire at Mikado Baptist Church is to use music and drama to inspire those proper attitudes in all of our hearts this season. At Christmas at Mikado, our emotions will be stirred through the powerful music provided by the choir and orchestra. And we all will see a little bit of ourselves in the story told by the drama of a troubled man who is finally brought back to what Christmas is all about.

For convenience, Mikado is performing “The Story of Christmas” three times – Once on Saturday, December 16th at 6:00 PM, and twice on Sunday, December 17th, at 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

If coming to “The Story of Christmas” is your first time visiting Mikado, you will be welcomed and encouraged by the people you meet and the program you experience. During your stay, if there’s anything we can do to be a blessing to you, please let an usher or staff member know. You may want to see pictures of our Christmas program last year, contact us, or find out more about our location.

Wherever this Christmas finds you, our prayer is that the story of a baby in the manger would be more real this year than ever before; and that you would personally receive and experience the change a relationship with Him brings.
