Come to our Trunk or Treat this October! If you’re looking for fun stuff for kids to do this fall, this is the event for you!
October is one of the most beautiful times of the year. The weather is cooling down, the leaves are turning colors and falling, and pumpkins are everywhere! One of the most fun parts about fall is the opportunity to make memories with your family that will last a lifetime.
At Mikado, we believe strong family relationships are vitally important; so we want to give you an opportunity to enjoy time with your family at our fun, safe Trunk or Treat. On October 31st, from 6-8 PM, dozens of cars will be uniquely decorated by our church members and spread throughout our parking lot. As children in their costumes walk through the lines of decorated cars, they’ll have the opportunity to play carnival style games, collect free candy, and enjoy free snacks. Our Trunk or Treat is one of the highlights of our year. In fact, it’s such a big hit, we’re expecting over 2,000 people to be there to collect candy! But don’t let that scare you – we’ve hired professional security to monitor our campus during Trunk or Treat to ensure everything that happens that evening will be run safely and smoothly!
Mikado Baptist Church is located on the corner of Houston Road and Sardis Church Road. When you arrive, please pull in using the Sardis Church Road entrance. You will see clearly marked signs showing you where registration is, and parking lot attendants will help show you where to park your vehicle. When you register, you’ll receive an arm band to help us differentiate between Trunk or Treat guests and Trunk or Treat staff. There will also be a large photo booth where you can take a picture with your family while you wait in line. If you take any pictures, please make sure to tag us on social media using @mikadobc (Facebook) or #mikadobc (Instagram)!
We’re so excited about Trunk or Treat, and can’t wait to see you there! If you need anything at all during the event, any of the staff members or security officers there will be happy to help.
